Installing KDE neon

  1. Start the laptop from a bootable USB flash drive
  2. After loading on the desktop, click on ‘Install System’ image of the download icon on the desktop
  3. Next click ‘Next’ next button image
  4. Select region location button image
  5. Select keyboard settings keyboard button image
  6. Select ‘Erase disk’ in disk layout Erase disk option image
    * Optionally select ‘Encrypt system’ for disk encryption, the installer will prompt you to enter a password Encrypt system option image
  7. Fill in the fields with the required data and click on the ‘Install’ button image of fields to fill
  8. After installing the OS, the installer will prompt you to reboot the system. Reboot restart option image
  9. After reboot the system will be ready for use
